Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

What you’ll bring:
- Strong proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in school or educational settings
- Ability to interpret spoken language into ASL and vice versa with accuracy and professionalism
- Familiarity with educational terminology and diverse student needs
- Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a collaborative approach
- Appropriate certification or state requirements for interpreting in schools (if applicable)
What you’ll do:
- Interpret classroom instruction, discussions, and activities to ensure students have equal access to curriculum
- Facilitate communication between students, teachers, staff, and peers during classroom lessons and school events
- Support students throughout the school day—7 hours daily in a full-time capacity
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards of interpreting
- Collaborate with teaching staff to adapt and prepare materials if needed
- Assist in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
