Medical Receptionist

Job Description Job Description Responsibilities: - Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner - Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using medical scheduling software - Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments - Maintain patient records and update medical information as necessary - Assist with medical records management, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents - Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed - Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient office operations Requirements: - Previous experience working in a dental office or medical receptionist role preferred - Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Proficient in using office equipment, including computers, printers, and phone systems - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
