Press Operator

WorkSource is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 2nd Pressman to join our printing team. This role is designed for someone who wants to grow into a Lead Pressman position. You will assist with press operations, quality control, equipment maintenance, and production efficiency while gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of press management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with press setup, operation, stock loading, and job changeovers.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and customer standards.
• Maintain material flow to minimize downtime and support production efficiency.
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and safety checks on equipment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and support production goals.
• Develop press operation, troubleshooting, and leadership skills in preparation for advancement to a Lead Pressman role.
