Bring your commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement to the ExxonMobil Advanced Graphite Solutions (EMAGS) in Hopkinsville, and take the next meaningful step in your career.Benefits:Competitive PayHealth, Dental, and Vision Insurance401k Retirement PlanDisability and Life InsurancePrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:Follows established procedures and practices to produce quality products for the company's customersLearns the entire production and off gas process with respect to theory, flow diagrams, systems, controls, and instrumentation and causes the process to be operated as specified in the established procedures complying with environmental operating parameters and ensures equipment performs its functionLoads material into equipment and initiates run cycles per procedureBags and pallatizes product according to instructions for bag type and weightCompletes required forms, charts, run sheets, or other operating documentsRuns the required lab tests on raw material, product in process, and finished products and completes necessary documentation and reporting.Performs preventive maintenance as required including but not limited to lubricating and belt tensioning and if necessary, initiates maintenance fault report to address repairsAssists in installing, removing, and maintaining equipment and buildingsAssists in moving railcars and/or unloading raw material trucksOperates the forklift, bagger, and other industrial equipment as requiredCompletes routine housekeeping tasks in the work areas as well as assisting in general plant clean upDevelops operational proceduresComplies with company policies and the Standards of Business ConductAdheres to general and job specific safety, environmental, and quality guidelines/proceduresPerforms other duties as assignedEducation/Experience - Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:High school diploma or GED preferredMinimum of 3 years experience working in a manufacturing environmentSound manufacturing safety knowledge and principles (LOTO, Permitting, OSHA 1910)Mechanical skills involving the use of basic toolsBasic mathematical and chemistry skillsAbility to communicate effectivelyAbility to read and interpret documents such as work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manualAbility to safely work in a non-production line settingAbility to work in multi-level building and at times confined spacesAbility to work independently or in a team settingAbility to work rotating shift schedule as assigned including nights and weekends including flexibility to provide job coverage for co-workers in addition to regular scheduleCompetent computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel)Physical Qualifications:Vision: Normal RequiredHearing: Normal RequiredReaching/Stretching: Normal RequiredStanding/Walking/Mobility: Normal RequiredClimbing/Stooping/Kneeling: Normal RequiredLifting/Pulling/Pushing: Normal RequiredFingering/Grasping/Feeling: Normal RequiredCapable of lifting 50 lbs on a daily basisWork Environment:This individual works in a multi-level industrial environment requiring work in high precarious places via ladders and steps inside and outside the plant in all types of weather conditions. Occasional work within confined spaces is necessary. This individual can be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and some hazardous chemicals. The plant utilizes high levels of electricity and individuals have to be safety minded in all activities.
