Bartlett Primary Assessment Center in Bartlett, Tennessee is a short-term, trauma-informed assessment facility serving youth in need of stabilization and behavioral evaluation.Youth typically remain in care for approximately 30 days, during which they receive structured intake, education, multidisciplinary assessment, and life skills programming. You will lead the daily structure and culture of the unit while ensuring youth safety, staff accountability, and facility compliance. This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for professionals with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day operations of a housing unit, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and youth well-beingSupervise, schedule, and evaluate assigned staff, providing training and corrective guidance as neededMonitor staff performance, attendance, and conduct, and escalate issues appropriatelyOversee youth activities, unit schedules, and implementation of structured programmingCoordinate with clinical and operational teams to manage youth intake, appointments, and dischargesEnsure compliance with state regulations and facility policies, including security procedures and behavior management systemsConduct room checks, monitor for contraband, and maintain secure environmentsReview and investigate incident reports, grievances, and use of restraints or confinementAdminister medications and maintain accurate documentationConduct routine inspections and implement corrective actions as neededMaintain logs and prepare narrative reports regarding youth behavior, staffing, and unit operationsAssist with onboarding, training, and professional development of unit staffQualifications Required:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or universityMinimum three years of experience working with youth in a residential behavioral health or juvenile justice settingPrior supervisory experience in a similar environmentValid driver's license and ability to pass a background checkAbility to meet Certified Behavioral Health Technician (CBHT) training within 9 monthsPreferred:Working knowledge of substance abuse and trauma-related interventionsExperience managing structured programming and crisis response in residential settingsCPR/First Aid certified or willingness to obtainApply Today Make a difference with us.
