Senior Data Analyst - Banking

Partner with business stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into solution requirements Work with large datasets using Python/PySpark (Databricks/Jupyter) for data processing and analysis Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation Handle large-scale consumer banking, credit risk, or payment processing datasets Consume and manage data from AWS S3 and integrate with downstream systems Build and maintain dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data solutions Perform data analysis to support business insights and decision-making Requirements Master's degree in Computer Science or any related field 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, preferably within Tier-1 financial institutions, top 10 U.S. national banks, or global consumer banking Strong expertise in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets Proficiency in Python for data analysis and scripting Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.) Understanding of banking/financial services data is must have Experience working in a client-facing or consulting environment Hands-on experience in data analysis, data profiling, and exploratory analysis Hands-on experience in analyzing, identifying, and documenting transformation logic and rules Excellent teamwork and problem-solving abilities Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in Data Analytics with a strong focus on SQL and Python for data processing and analysis, alongside proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI. Possesses a solid understanding of banking and financial services data, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders to drive business insights.
