The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all HVAC systems in our commercial building projects, ensuring they are installed and functioning correctly. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team and make a significant impact on our projects' success. Responsibilities Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of all HVAC systems in building projects. Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure HVAC systems are integrated seamlessly. Supervise a team of HVAC technicians, providing guidance and support as needed. Conduct regular inspections to ensure systems function correctly and comply with safety regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and air conditioning. Prepare and manage the budget for HVAC operations, maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs. Stay up‑to‑date on the latest HVAC technologies and industry trends, implementing them into operations where appropriate. Ensure all HVAC operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in the HVAC industry, focusing on commercial construction projects. Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and air conditioning. Experience with plumbing and mechanical systems. Proficiency in using HVAC tools and equipment for installation and repair. Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations related to HVAC systems. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex HVAC concepts to non‑technical team members. Proficiency in using computer software for project management and HVAC system design. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to construction sites as needed. Certification or degree in HVAC technology or related field is preferred.
