Location: 800 Cummings Center, Beverly, MA, 01915 USA Senior Software Engineer – Real-time Telematics IoT Platform As a Senior Software Engineer on our real‑time telematics IoT platform team, you will design, develop, and maintain software solutions that ensure the integrity and efficiency of temperature‑sensitive supply chains. Key Responsibilities Relentless, independent problem solver; self‑directed go‑to point person and assertive decision maker. Engineer with a “zero‑bugs” mindset; strong focus on fundamentals, performance tuning and scalability. Full‑Stack Cloud Developer: UI, Web, Design, Middleware, API’s and Database Development, Pipelines. Primary Duties: Development and implementation of features, tools, API’s, automation. Additional Duties: On‑call production support rotation, operations, maintenance, bug fixes, roadmap. Drive continuous improvement of code, design, architecture, automation, processes, documentation. Troubleshoot production issues related to performance, algorithms, IoT device traffic, and throughput. Partner with external departments to discover, understand and clarify business requirements. Lead projects end‑to‑end: requirements gathering, implementation, deployment, and production support. Deadline‑focused, ensuring on‑time delivery with high quality and minimal defects. Comfortable in matrixed agile team environment as well as aggressive independent projects. Technology champion, assessing cutting‑edge tools to optimize technical and business solutions. Experience leading and consulting with global teams across multiple time zones. Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and shifting priorities. Leverage AI coding tools, AI agents and AI tools to boost engineering productivity. Mentor junior team members, champion knowledge sharing and best practices. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. 5+ years of software development experience in C# and .NET Core. 2+ years experience with Angular, React, Vue.js, Svelte or other modern JavaScript frameworks. 2+ years experience developing with relational database systems. 2+ years experience developing with cloud‑native architectures (Azure, AWS, GCP). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Computer Sciences, Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline. Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Rally, Azure DevOps, TFS, GitHub and GitFlow. Excellent communication skills across non‑technical departments and functional areas. Experience with microservices architectures. Experience working across globally distributed teams. Experience building and supporting a SaaS software platform. Experience working with large database tables consisting of billions of rows. Active interest in new technologies and emerging engineering practices.
