Director, Software Engineering - Infrastructure

Salary: $246,500 - 395,600 per year Requirements:

• We bring 10 to 15 years of software engineering experience, including at least 7 years leading a team of 50+ engineers.
• We have 7+ years supporting infrastructure and services hosted on AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
• We have 5+ years delivering, deploying, and managing enterprise applications in the cloud.
• We have 3+ years building continuous integration and delivery pipelines and cloud-native CI/CD tooling.
• We have 3+ years implementing telemetry, observability intelligence, and automated remediation.
• We have 3+ years leading initiatives in scalability, resiliency, performance, and security.
• We have 3+ years establishing and maturing an SRE practice.
• We bring strong knowledge of Azure cloud services and monitoring technologies, which is highly desirable.
• We have hands-on experience building pre-production performance and testing environments, plus DR/HA architectures in the cloud.
• We have experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• We have deep expertise with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• We have strong working knowledge of CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins and observability tools such as New Relic, Datadog, and Splunk Enterprise.
• We are a strong talent magnet and can attract top engineering talent to our vertical SaaS business.

• We hold a BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field; an MS or PhD is highly desirable.

• We lead, grow, and develop a global SRE team capable of providing 24x7 coverage.
• We run the operations center and incident command and response for mission-critical software.
• We achieve and sustain 4-9s availability across our fleet.
• We own release management for the core application and coordinate a resilient process across functional microservices.
• We manage service capacity planning, demand forecasting, performance analysis, and system tuning.
• We partner with development teams to ensure applications are production-ready, scalable, reliable, and observable from day one.
• We measure and improve system performance, anticipating customer needs and continuously innovating.
• We define, implement, and maintain practices that maximize uptime, performance, reliability, and security across production and pre-production environments.
• We provide thought leadership in resolving internal and external technology issues.
• We contribute broad business and industry expertise to support decision-making.
• We participate in research and solution development that strengthens product stability and reliability, improving overall quality and customer satisfaction.
• We build and maintain relationships with peers and leaders and serve as an internal resource across teams and business units.
• We promote operational best practices across critical services and reduce barriers to reliability improvements.
• We work closely with peer engineering executives as one team and represent ServiceTitan in the technology community while reinforcing our commitment to customer success.
