Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and talented Pastry Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating exquisite baked goods and desserts that delight our customers and elevate our culinary offerings. Your expertise in pastry arts, cake decorating, and food presentation will play a vital role in delivering exceptional experiences. Duties

• Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic designs, utilizing advanced cake decorating techniques to create visually stunning products.
• Package baked goods attractively for retail display or catering orders, maintaining presentation standards.
• Assist in food production and food preparation activities, supporting the kitchen team to meet daily demands.
• Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and safety regulations.
• Contribute to the development of new recipes and menu items that excite our customers’ palates.
• Support catering events by preparing baked goods and desserts that meet specific client specifications.

Requirements

• Proven pastry experience with a strong background in baking, cake decorating, and food preparation (including working with laminated dough and using a dough sheeter).
• Skilled in food handling, kitchen operations, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various baking tools and equipment.
• Experience in food industry environments such as restaurants or catering services is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
• Knowledge of culinary techniques related to food production, food safety regulations, and kitchen experience.
