Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2250 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 1 month within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Staffency Program - Aspirus.

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience: Ability to read telemetry strips required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: ED or ICU experience preferred.

Unit Details: ICU and Med Surg are a shared unit. Nurse-to-patient ratios range from 1:4-5 on days/evenings and 1:6-7 on evenings/nights.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and every other holiday. May be placed on call during low census hours.

Floating Requirements: Occasional need to float to other departments or Aspirus locations such as Merrill, Wausau, Stanley, and Langlade; will only help out and will not take a patient load, completing tasks such as vital checks.

9 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months
