Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position in Bowling Green, Kentucky. This role involves providing specialized critical care to patients in a 16-bed ICU/CCU setting. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day and should possess relevant certifications and experience in ICU nursing.

Job Details:

• Location: Bowling Green, Kentucky
• Certification and education requirements: Valid nursing license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), NIH (National Institute of Health) certification
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Licensure as a registered nurse, ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH certifications, COVID-19 vaccination preferred, no minimum years of experience required
• Additional Information: Flexibility with scheduling, teamwork environment, mix of experience with day and night shift
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Responsibilities include critical thinking, self-motivation, performing procedures such as central line insertions and dialysis catheter insertions, and documentation in Meditech EMR.
• Equipment used includes Impella monitors, temporary pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Artic Sun, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
