Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Under the direction of the Director of Child Nutrition Programs, the Warehouse Operations Supervisor plans, organizes and oversees the operations of the Santa Clarita Valley School Food Services Agency's (Agency) Warehouse and Central Kitchen facility. The job of Warehouse Operations Supervisor is done for the purpose/s of managing purchasing and warehousing programs and services. Supervises the safety and sanitation procedures for the receiving, storage, handling and delivering of food and supply products to sites. See job description.

Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Experience: Four years of increasingly responsible warehouse, store-keeping, or stock control experience, including at least two (2) years supervision experience.

License and Certificates Requires valid California Driver's License and Insurability. Current certificate of completion of a food safety and sanitation manager course. Valid Forklift Operator Certification. Print out of H-6 (good driving record documentation) is required at time of employment.

ServSafe Certificate (Current certificate of completion of a food safety and sanitation manager course.)

The selected candidate will be required to complete a physical examination as a condition of placement in this position.
