Training Administrator
Engineered Structures, Inc. (ESI)
Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: The Training Administrator is the centralized operations lead for training activity across ESI. This position consolidates training coordination, records, and measurement that today live across Safety, Field Operations, First Choice Service, and other functions, and brings them under a single accurate system of record within the ESI Academy. This role’s purpose is not just data entry. It is also to give ESI the operational backbone required to elevate training from awareness and participation toward application, behavior change, and business results. That means owning the Learning Management System as a measurement platform, not a filing cabinet; ensuring every training activity can be tracked, reported, and connected to a business outcome; and partnering with Human Resources, Safety, Operations, First Choice Service, and OrgDev to keep training data trustworthy, timely, and decision-ready. The Training Administrator uses AI-enabled tools to automate routine coordination and reporting work so that human time is concentrated on the higher-judgment activities that cannot be automated: data integrity in a safety-sensitive environment, cross-functional coordination, records compliance, and the operational discipline required for the Academy to scale. This position does not deliver training and has no direct reports. It is a hands‑on operational role focused on consolidation, accuracy, and discretion in a fast‑paced, safety‑sensitive construction environment. This is a full‑time in‑person role and is based at our headquarters in Meridian, Idaho. ESI covers 100% of the medical premium for all employees and families. Great upward mobility for career growth Responsibilities Centralize and coordinate training activity across ESI, including Safety, Field Operations, First Choice Service, and other operational or support functions, under the ESI Academy. Own the Learning Management System as ESI’s system of record for training; ensure data is accurate, timely, and structured to support measurement across participation, learning, application, behavior change, and business results. Maintain training calendars, schedules, rosters, and related communications that keep execution consistent across the company. Track participation, attendance, completion, and certification data; produce regular reports that leadership, HR, and Safety can act on. Partner with Human Resources to ensure verified training completions flow accurately and promptly into official employee records. Support training events and sessions through logistics, materials coordination, communications, and post‑event follow‑up documentation. Provide administrative support for the ESI Academy, including meeting coordination, agendas, and distribution of notes and action items. Provide limited executive‑level administrative support for OrgDev senior leadership as needed. Use AI‑enabled tools to automate routine coordination, reporting, and data‑management work; apply verification and human judgment where accuracy matters most. Continuously improve administrative workflows, LMS data quality, training coordination practices, and records accuracy as the Academy grows. Identify and flag gaps in training records, compliance tracking, and reporting that create risk for the company. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, education, human resources, organizational development, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. 3–5 years of experience in an administrative, operations, or program support role; experience supporting training programs, records management, or compliance‑related work preferred. Hands‑on experience operating a Learning Management System (LMS) for tracking, reporting, and records integrity; ability to learn and optimize new platforms quickly. Demonstrated experience managing records, documentation, calendars, or coordination activities that require accuracy and discretion in a regulated or safety‑sensitive environment. Experience in construction, safety, HR, operations, or other safety‑sensitive or regulated environments preferred. Strong organizational and prioritization skills with high attention to detail and consistent follow‑through. Ability to coordinate effectively across multiple departments and manage competing priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable using AI‑enabled tools to automate routine work and improve efficiency, with sound judgment about when verification is required. Dependable, service‑oriented professional who handles confidential information appropriately and escalates issues that affect records accuracy or compliance.
