Position Overview Southcoast Health is a not-for-profit charitable health system with multiple hospitals, clinics and facilities throughout southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We are searching for a talented Patient Access Rep – Rehab . Join us and become a key member of our rehab operations team. Hours: 40 hrs. Shift: Day shift; Monday & Wednesday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM. Location: Tobey Hospital – Wareham, MA. Responsibilities Under general supervision of the Team Leader, Rehab Operations, the Patient Access Rep will perform a variety of office support, coordinate patient care processes, and other related duties in accordance with Rehabilitation Services department policies and procedures. Qualifications Completion of four years of high school plus specialized courses or training, secretarial school, diploma, or medical office certification. Knowledge of medical terminology. Proficient keyboarding skills. Strong reasoning and critical‑thinking skills. Proficient with software applications such as e‑mail, Word, Excel, EHR. Exceptional customer service skills. Over three years of related medical office work experience. Associate’s degree preferred. Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID‑19 or be exempt, with a signed exemption statement. Compensation Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
