Critical Care/ICU Nurse Practitioner

Facility in Bloomington, IL seeking Critical Care APP locums coverage Rates: $130/hr Opportunity Highlights
- Start Date: April 6, 2026.
- Schedule Flexibility: Full-time or Part-time opportunities (approx. 20 shifts/month).
- 12-hour shifts (Day and Night availability needed).
- Minimum of 4 consecutive shifts per block preferred.
- Weekend-only availability is accepted.
- Clinical Volume: Manage 5 10 patients per shift.
- Support: Robust team environment with on-site Physicians, APPs, and 24/7 e-ICU collaboration.
- EMR: EPIC.
- Rounding: Participate in multidisciplinary ICU rounds at 10 AM and 10 PM.
- Procedures Required: Central Venous Catheter (CVC) placement.
- Arterial line placement.
- Hemodialysis (HD) line placement.
- Intubations (based on skill and comfort level).
- Collaboration: Deliver high-quality care in collaboration with on-site physicians and the e-ICU team.
- Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible (NP or PA).
- Licensure: Active Illinois State License and Illinois Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) are required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Critical Care experience.
- Certifications: Active ACLS and BLS are required.
- DEA: Required at the time of application.
- Airfare: Standard economy fares provided.
- Transportation: Rental car provided (4WD SUV during winter months) or mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate.
- Parking: On-site parking is covered.
