Cardiac Cath Lab Scrub Advanced Radiology Technologist Location: Memorial Hospital (Belleville, IL) – Cardiac Cath Lab Employment Type: Full‑Time Position Summary The Cardiac Cath Lab Scrub Advanced Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures in cardiac catheterization and related procedures. The role includes preparing patients, assisting with procedures, recording cases in EPIC, and providing scrub support during cardiac cath, pacemaker, vascular, and EP procedures. Day Shift Hours 4 days per week, 10‑hour shifts with rotating days off Paid on‑call for evenings, weekends, and holidays Float to Shiloh Memorial location as needed Requirements Associate degree or higher in a related field. Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)). Background check and drug test required. Preferred Qualifications Cath Lab experience (preferred). Experience as an OR Technologist, Operating Room Tech, Imaging Specialist (OR), Interventional Technologist, Surgical Technologist (Imaging), Radiologic Technologist – Operating Room, Scrub Tech, Radiology Technologist (MR, CT, RT, X‑ray), ARRT, MRI Graduate, etc. 2 years of related experience. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification. Intravenous Therapy certification. Responsibilities Prepare patients and equipment for procedures. Perform studies independently or in on‑call situations, including portable exams as required. Assist with procedure prep, recovery, and documentation in EPIC. Provide scrub support for cardiac catheterization, pacemaker, vascular, and EP procedures. Minimum Requirements Associate degree or equivalent training. No previous clinical experience required; training will be provided. Relevant certifications as listed in requirements.
