Radiation Oncologist

Overview The Mass General Brigham Department of Radiation Oncology is recruiting an MD, DO, DO/PhD, or MD/PhD, board‑eligible or board‑certified radiation oncologist for a clinical, academic rank at the Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School, commensurate with the candidate’s experience and track record. Harvard Medical School appointments require approval and a minimum of 50 hours per year of teaching Harvard learners. Clinical Practice Environment Varian linear accelerators with integrated imaging capabilities Proton cyclotron with 3 treatment rooms Single gantry proton synchrotron MR‑Linac GE & Siemens CT Simulators Siemens MR Simulator HDR brachytherapy suites Raystation, Eclipse, and Oncentra treatment planning systems The department, including its network‑based locations, treats over 1,000 patients per day and is fully supported by a talented team of radiation therapists, dosimetrists, medical physicists, nurses, advanced practice providers, and administrative support staff. Qualifications Completed residency in an ACGME‑accredited radiation oncology program and/or fellowship in an accredited US training program. Track record of excellence in clinical care and research. Exceptional clinical and interpersonal skills. Desire to work as part of a collegial, collaborative, multi‑disciplinary team.
