Job Overview A law firm seeks an Energy Associate with 1 to 4 years of relevant large law firm transactional experience to join their Corporate Practice Group in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of experience in energy development and/or energy project finance. Responsibilities Draft energy-related development agreements. Engage in tax equity financing structures. Collaborate with team members on energy projects. Conduct legal research and analysis. Requirements 1 to 4 years of transactional experience in a large law firm. Experience in energy development or project finance preferred. Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills. Excellent academic credentials. Education Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications Member of the District of Columbia, Florida, Illinois, New York, North Carolina, or Texas bars, depending on office location. Skills Proficiency in drafting legal documents.
