Long Term Care Pharmacist

Job Title: Pharmacist (Onsite) Location: Columbia, MD 21046 Pay Rate (W2): $64.27 an hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM (may be scheduled 4–5 days/week ) Hours: Up to 40 hrs/week Job Type: Contract to hire Work Setting: Onsite Job Summary A-Line Staffing Solutions is hiring an Onsite Pharmacist in Columbia, MD . This role supports daily pharmacy operations including prescription dispensing, patient consultation, inventory oversight, and sterile compounding (highly preferred). The pharmacy completes IV infusions daily and dispenses CADD infusion pumps . Key Responsibilities Accurately verify, accept, and dispense prescription medications in compliance with all laws/regulations Provide patient counseling (dosage, side effects, interactions, storage, etc.) for Rx/OTC medications Maintain confidential patient records and ensure proper documentation practices Support/prepare sterile compounded solutions following proper procedures Monitor medication compliance and identify potential drug-related problems; communicate with providers as needed Supervise pharmacy staff (pharmacy technicians/clerks) and support workflow efficiency Manage/maintain pharmacy inventory of medications and medical supplies Educate patients on proper use of medical devices (e.g., BP monitors, glucose meters) Requirements PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy) required Active Pharmacist license in good standing (state pharmacy board) Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety/compliance Preferred Qualifications Sterile compounding experience (highly preferred) Experience with IV infusions Familiarity with CADD infusion pumps (or other infusion pumps) Apply If you’re interested, apply to this posting and a recruiter from A-Line Staffing Solutions will follow up promptly.
