Software Engineer II - C++, Onsite

What You Will Do Supports all aspects of the software development life cycle as part of a multi-disciplined team. Responsibilities include working on new and legacy military and commercial programs from concept and requirements through design, development, integration, test, and subsequent maintenance. Provide creative solutions to complex technical system and software integration problems and collaborate closely with Systems Engineers to design solutions aligned with end‑user and operational needs. Qualifications – You Must Have Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of relevant experience. Experience with C++ design paradigms and real‑time operating systems (Linux, VxWorks, or similar). Experience developing, testing, and integrating real‑time software applications written in C++. Experience with scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, or Python. Active and transferable U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship. Qualifications – We Prefer Experience coding in C, C#, Java, or closely related languages. Experience working in lab environments with physical hardware (test benches, simulators). Strong ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and large code bases. Experience with Scrum and Agile software development processes. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: USD 75,800 – USD 144,200 per year (good‑faith estimate).
