responsibilities:

• Conduct scientific experiments for cell culture media hydration, stock preparation, and routine mammalian cell culture following established procedures.
• Execute experimental designs, troubleshoot scientific tasks, and recommend process modifications to enhance media performance.
• Maintain detailed, accurate laboratory notebooks recording experimental designs and results, and assist in writing project reports.
• Manage daily workload efficiently to meet team deadlines and communicate ideas and results clearly across internal teams.

 
qualifications:
Required:

• B.S. in Biological Sciences, Biochemical/Biomolecular Engineering, Chemistry, Material Sciences or equivalent experience in a related technical area.
• Hands on experience with aseptic technique.

• Good understanding of biology, biochemistry, and/or cellular metabolism.
• Hands on experience with cell/tissue culture techniques including thawing, subculturing, and freezing.

Preferred:

• Mammalian cell culture, CHO cell experience, or an engineering background.
• Experience in analytical techniques and method development, experiment design, and statistical analysis.
