Automotive Service Drive Greeter & Valet Team Lead

Vera Cadillac Buick GMC is looking for a polished, dependable, and hands-on professional to serve as our Automotive Service Drive Greeter & Valet Team Lead. This individual will be responsible for the customer’s first and last impression of our service department. The right candidate will immediately welcome arriving customers, connect them with the appropriate service advisor, maintain an organized flow of vehicles, and provide daily direction to the valet team. Primary responsibilities include directing valet assignments and coverage, conducting brief morning huddles, monitoring vehicle parking and retrieval, maintaining key control, coordinating completed vehicle staging, and communicating with service advisors regarding customers, vehicle locations, delays, and special requests. This person will also monitor valet attendance, punctuality, appearance, break coverage, and professional conduct. They will assist with training new employees, maintain the appearance of the service drive and valet station, and immediately report vehicle damage, missing keys, customer complaints, accidents, or safety concerns. This is a hands-on leadership position. We need someone who is highly visible, takes ownership, works alongside the team, and understands the hospitality standards expected at a luxury automotive dealership. Previous experience in an automotive dealership, hospitality, valet, concierge, or customer-facing leadership role is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership, organization, communication, and customer-service skills. A valid driver’s license and a driving record acceptable under dealership guidelines are required. Applicants must be comfortable safely operating different types of vehicles, including large trucks and SUVs. The position requires dependable attendance, punctuality, professional grooming, and the ability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be comfortable standing, walking, and working outdoors for extended periods. Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills are strongly preferred. Starting at $21 per hour, with compensation based on leadership and dealership experience. This is a full-time opportunity with an established automotive dealership and the ability to develop additional leadership and dealership operations experience.
