Doctor of Medicine | Gastroenterology Location: Mountain Home, AR Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Gastroenterologist • Job Type: Permanent (Full-Time) • Location: Mountain Home, AR • Service Setting: Outpatient Clinic • Coverage Type: Clinical Call • Clinical Shift Schedule: Weekday office hours • Call Schedule: 10 days of call per month & weekend call 1:4 PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adults with endocrine disorders including diabetes • Patient Volume/Census: To be built collaboratively; Diabetes Clinic support in place • Case Mix: Endocrine disorders with a focus on diabetes care FACILITY INFORMATION ​• Clinic within 0.5 mile of Hospital and GI Lab • Office equipment available: 4 procedure rooms in Endoscopy, State-of-the-Art Equipment • Specialty Backup: Yes – collaboration with APRN and RN Diabetes Educator • Support Staff Available: 2 GI physicians, full clinic support team, including clinical educators and nursing staff PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: No (100% outpatient) COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Salary: $700,000 base salary plus production bonus opportunity • Bonuses: Commencement bonus • Relocation: Assistance provided • Loan Repayment: Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) • Insurance: - Professional Liability Insurance - Health, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life Insurance • Retirement Plan: Included • Continuing Medical Education (CME): Allowance included • Additional Perks: New specialty service line, supportive infrastructure REQUIRED PROCEDURES • Outpatient management of endocrine disorders • Diabetes management and education collaboration with clinical team JOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Arkansas medical license (or eligibility to obtain) • Certifications: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Endocrinology • Experience: Preferred but not required for qualified candidates • Other Qualifications: - Strong interest in building a new specialty service line - Excellent communication and collaborative skills DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Establish and grow a new endocrinology practice at Baxter Health • Collaborate with a well-established Diabetes Clinic and clinical educators • Provide outpatient care for a broad range of endocrine conditions • Contribute to patient education and chronic disease management • Support hospital’s mission to expand specialty care accessaa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
