Automotive Service Cashier The Automotive Service Cashier is responsible for processing all transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with company’s established policies and procedures. Responsible for welcoming customers with a warm and sincere greeting Ensures excellent service standards and maintains high customer satisfaction Receives cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers and records the amount received in an accurate manner Provides proper change and/or receipts to the customers Provides exceptional customer service throughout checkout process Records transactions on daily settlement sheets and verifies against cash‑on‑hand Answers and transfers phone calls or take written messages when needed personnel not available Responsible for filing, scanning, and/or booking repair orders as needed Provides assistance to the accounting office as directed on an individual task basis Follows company safety procedures and policies Individuals employed in this position must have knowledge of basic arithmetic and skill in handling and counting cash accurately Individuals employed in this position must be able to stand, sit and mobilize through various dealership work areas (sometimes for extended periods) Individuals employed in this position must have excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills; cultural sensitivity and demonstrates ability to work with diverse people groups Individuals employed in this position must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions and management Individuals employed in this position must demonstrate organizational and time management skills.
