The Inpatient Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) at United Health Services (UHS) provides compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to patients undergoing cancer treatment and manages complex oncologic conditions. Key Responsibilities Provide patient-centered nursing care to oncology patients undergoing cancer treatment and manage complex oncologic conditions. Support patients and families through all phases of the cancer journey, including treatment, symptom management, and supportive care. Assist with the coordination of multidisciplinary care teams and facilitate effective communication among patients, families, and providers. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (Minimum). Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Preferred). Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting. Current NYS RN License (Minimum). Professional certification in a related nursing specialty (Preferred). Relevant skills certification (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned. Compensation & Benefits Primary Department, Division, or Unit: Main Tower 5 Med‑Surg Oncology, UHS Wilson Medical Center. Primary Work Shift: Night Regular. Weekly Hours: 24. Hourly Rate: $40.70 – $61.05 per hour, depending on experience. Sign‑On Incentive: Eligible for up to $25,000 bonus for experienced candidates.
