Veterinary Assistant / Tech
Clearwater Animal Clinic
We are currently seeking a motivated and energetic candidate to work as a veterinary assistant at Clearwater Animal Clinic. Position is full time and requires Saturday AM work but PT is possible. Experienced is preferred but can train. We are a busy hospital offering medical and surgical services, and provide dentistry services with dental X-rays as well as ultrasound, echography, and digital radiography. We are fully computerized using Avimark software. Computer skills required. Candidate must be reliable, capable of working alone as well as within the team, detail oriented and good at prioritizing and multi tasking. We offer great compensation with benefits including medical and dental insurance, 401K, paid vacations and Holidays. Candidate must have initiative and compassion for our patients and clients. Candidate's duties will include taking vitals on patients, assisting veterinary technicians and veterinarians, running blood work and testing, communicating with owner about progress reports and explaining medications, taking history and keeping charts updated.
