Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related discipline required • 2+ years’ experience in production, process, or mechanical troubleshooting and optimization activities at a chemical or petrochemical manufacturing facility. • Working knowledge and experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar data driven process improvement methodologies with the ability to facilitate and lead project teams to successful implementation preferred. • Proven track record of working in a team environment. • Must possess a strong technical/problem solving aptitude. • Able to solve complex problems by identifying and enrolling appropriate resources. • Background in dispersion manufacturing experience is a plus. • Experience with relevant mechanical process equipment such as material handling systems, belt filtration, and precipitation is desired. • Must show strong initiative, be self-motivated, and work with limited supervision. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Knowledge of process control systems strongly preferred. • Experience working in chemical industry highly desired. • Must be able to work with and across all levels of an organization from operators to senior management.
