As an Echo Tech/Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions. Every day you will operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data, ensuring patient comfort and performing a range of echocardiographic studies. To be successful, you will possess a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, proficient technical skills, and effective communication abilities to provide exceptional diagnostic services.
- Performs Cardiovascular Ultrasound Procedures
- Provides patient/family with information regarding procedure.
- Correctly prepares patient for ultrasound procedures
- Evaluates equipment for safety, troubleshoots problems and promptly reports malfunctions. Maintains echo equipment
- Maintains accurate log of echo procedures performed.
- Correctly charges for procedures performed.
