Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop tailored therapy strategies that address each client’s unique needs.

• Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, groups, couples, and families, ensuring that each treatment plan is specifically designed for effective outcomes.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy, based on client preferences.

• Maintain up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software to enhance workflow efficiency.

• Engage in continuous professional development via workshops and training to stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health research and therapy techniques.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care for clients, contributing to a multidisciplinary approach to mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counselors work with a diverse clientele, including individuals and families experiencing a wide range of mental health issues. This includes but is not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship challenges. Your role will have a direct impact on improving the lives of those who often face barriers to accessing quality mental health care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.

• At least two years of professional counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
