Candidates who enjoy problem-solving, blueprint reading, and hands-on machining will thrive in this environment.Pay & Schedule$25.00 - $35.00 per hourPay based on experienceDay ShiftFull-Time PositionResponsibilitiesSet up and operate manual lathes, mills, drill presses, grinders, and other machine shop equipmentRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsMachine new components and repair existing parts to precise tolerancesPerform measurements and inspections using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other precision measuring toolsSelect appropriate tooling, materials, and machining methodsTroubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustmentsMaintain quality standards and ensure completed work meets customer requirementsFollow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work areaQualificationsPrevious manual machining experience requiredAbility to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawingsExperience working with precision measuring instrumentsStrong understanding of machining practices and tolerancesMechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple projectsCommitment to producing high-quality workPreferred ExperienceJob shop or custom machining environmentRepair machining and equipment rebuild experienceExperience machining large steel componentsJob Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Summersville, WV.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
