Maternal Fetal Medicine Faculty Physician

The University of North Carolina Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is recruiting an open‑rank (tenure‑track or non‑tenure track) Maternal‑Fetal Medicine (MFM) faculty physician. Three or more years of MFM experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clinical: High‑risk obstetric care, perinatal consultation, prenatal diagnosis, ultrasound, genetic services, invasive fetal therapy, and perinatal outreach
• Teaching: Active participation in UNC’s Center for Maternal and Infant Health, student and resident teaching, subspecialty training for six MFM fellows
• Research: opportunity to participate if desired

Requirements & Qualifications

• MD or DO required
• Must be Board Certified/Active Candidate in OB‑GYN and Maternal‑Fetal Medicine.
• Completion of both a 4‑year ACGME approved OB‑GYN residency and a 3‑year ACOG approved fellowship in Maternal‑Fetal Medicine.
• Preferred: Three+ years of post‑fellowship MFM experience Demonstrated commitment to excellence in clinical care and medical education.
