Rad Tech General ImagingJob Title: Rad Tech General Imaging Profession: Allied Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Night Shift - Friday to Sunday Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Dual-modality Radiology (DX)/CT technologist License: ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT Certifications: BLS Must-Have: 1 year of experience as a Dual-modality Radiology (DX)/CT technologist ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT BLS Description: This facility has 11 licensed beds. There is no trauma designation. It is a free-standing emergency department. The facility offers 24/7 on-site X-ray, CT, and Ultrasound services. Outpatient imaging is also provided. It functions as a stroke center. The traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of the home unit. The average number of patients per day is 70-80 in the emergency department and 60-80 in radiology. The position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience. First-time travelers may be considered depending on experience. Patients include both emergency department and outpatient cases. Required skills include dual-modality Radiology (DX) and CT technologist experience. IV starts and 3D rendering using TerraRecon software are necessary skills. Experience with Siemens equipment is required. Department leadership provides support within the department. Diagnostic X-ray equipment includes Shimadzu room and portable with Konica software. CT equipment includes Siemens go.Topo. The electronic medical record system used is EPIC. Medication dispensing is handled by OmniCell. Monitors used are Philips.
