Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Nights)

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Provide direct nursing care to Medical Surgical and Telemetry patients with a 1:5–6 patient ratio
• Float within the same discipline to other units, including Stepdown, as needed
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic medical records system
• Participate in holiday coverage, including 1–2 of the designated summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois and Iowa
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Valid Driver's License
• Current skills checklist completed within the past year, along with work history/resume, license verification, copies of required certifications, and a minimum of one supervisory reference

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Stepdown or Cardiac nursing experience, as floating to the Stepdown unit may be required
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system
• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
