Data Analytics Platform Engineer Ever-expanding technology such as IoT, machine learning, and artificial intelligence means that there is more structured and unstructured data available today than ever before. As a data engineer, you know that organizing data can yield pivotal insights when it’s gathered from disparate sources. We need an experienced data engineer to help our clients find answers in their data to impact important missions—from fraud detection to cancer research to national intelligence. In this role you will build advanced technology solutions and implement data engineering activities on mission‑driven projects. You will deploy and develop pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data meaningful. You will work with and guide a multidisciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers in a fast‑paced, agile environment. Qualifications 3+ years of experience with data lake or analytics platforms 1+ years of experience designing data pipeline architectures for security operations, including log collection, normalization, enrichment and routing 1+ years of experience with defensive cyber operations, cybersecurity engineering or security platform architecture Experience architecting detection engineering pipelines, threat hunting workflows or automated response capabilities Experience deploying platforms across cloud, on‑premises and disconnected environments Knowledge of Zero Trust principles, DoD and IC Cybersecurity frameworks or federal compliance standards TS/SCI clearance HS diploma or GED Nice to Have Experience with Windows or Linux administration activities Experience with stream processing or data brokering platforms such as Cribl, Kafka, Logstash or Fluentd Experience with threat detection or anomaly‑based behavioral analysis Experience with DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines in IL5, IL6 or IL7 environments Experience with Python or scripting languages for security automation Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 per year (annualized USD).
