Project Engineer

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Engineering Department which is responsible to manage the Capital Projects Portfolio and provide engineering and construction services for Boron Operations and Wilmington Operations. The Engineering Team manages over 60 annual Capital Projects and assist in supporting production with technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills and providing both day to day guidance as well as developing and leading improvement projects.The Project Engineer will deliver multiple projects during all stages, with a focus on prefeasibility and feasibility stages. This is a great opportunity to have close contact with different projects stakeholders from operations, processing, environmental, safety, maintenance teams to ensure compliance with the RTB Capital plan. These provide opportunities to grow your career through a dedicated technical path while being rewarded for your unique skills.Working in a collaborative community, you will be:Ensure projects are managed with the high attention to safety and in accordance with Rio Tinto Health, Safety and Environmental standards.Actively participate in HSEQ systems such as Critical Risk Management Verifications, Interactions, near hit reporting, incident reporting and analysis, inspections, risk assessments, management review, element championing, etc.Manage multiple projects in coordination with outside engineering groups, contractors or service.Facilitate development of project scopes, schedules, cost estimates and subsequent detailed engineering.
