WORK TYPE : Onsite LOCATION DETAILS Forestville, MD 20747 WORK HOURS Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm Full Time Team members work 8-hour shifts for 40 hours per week. Shift times may vary, and extra hours may be added to your schedule to ensure we fulfill our commitments to customers. Peak Season (July-December) Requirements Mandatory overtime may include some weekends. Ability to add, subtract multiply and divide numbers. WHAT YOU WILL DO Responsible for pulling orders and preparing them for shipment. Handle all shipping and receiving duties including unloading trucks to receive inbound shipments and preparing outbound shipments. Maintain clean and safe work area. Perform computer functions to systematically quality check, transfer, and pack each order in the system, as well as ordering replacement units, screens, or transfers when needed by production. Ability to understand and follow production process required Follow safe work practices including but not limited to proper use of machinery (identifying moving parts) and cleanliness (work area and machinery). Readiness to perform other job functions or relocate to another department based on lack of workflow or departmental need. Positive attitude and the ability to work with others in a team environment Flexibility regarding work schedule based on workflow demand. Receiving, picking, sorting, and labeling orders. Pack, fold, and arrange garments. Scanning shipping orders, and inputting into inventory system. Research and correct displaced, mislabeled, and missing products, perform replenishments, cycle counts, stock checks, and resolve inventory and order discrepancies. QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES 1 - 2 years' experience in a warehouse/ manufacturing setting Basic blueprint reading skills. Moderate understanding of quality control standards and techniques. 2 years in-depth SAP experience Learning tasks quickly is detailed, accurately driven, personable, team oriented, and punctual with excellent attendance. Read and comprehend documents, instructions, and correspondence in English to perform job duties efficiently. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as a team. Ability to multi-task and work efficiently. Strong time management and attention to timelines. EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE HS Diploma or GED (required) Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus Proficient with Microsoft Office, with extensive experience with Microsoft Excel Operational, Warehouse, Logistics or comparable experience preferred.
