Senior Litigation Paralegal

D3 Search is seeking an accomplished Litigation Trial Paralegal on behalf of a prominent national defense practice with a long-standing office located in downtown Los Angeles, CA (90071).

• Important Note: 4+ yrs. relevant litigation experience/expertise (product liability & class action) is HIGHLY PREFERRED.

Full-time/direct-hire employment. Non-exempt role (OT eligible in accordance w/ CA laws).

Position Summary :

Highly respected and well-established national defense practice is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Trial Paralegal to join their Product Liability and Class Action Litigation Group in downtown Los Angeles (90071).

The ideal candidate will have at least 4+ years of relevant experience managing complex product liability and class action cases through all phases of litigation, including trial preparation and support.

General Responsibilities :

• Assist with all aspects of case management and trial preparation, including document organization, witness preparation, and exhibit management
• Draft and file pleadings, discovery requests, responses, and other legal documents, including motions and subpoenas
• Organize and manage large volumes of documents, conduct substantive document reviews, and assist with e-discovery processes
• Coordinate with expert witnesses, clients, and vendors, as well as opposing counsel, during case preparation and trial
• Act as a key support member during trial, managing exhibits, logistics, and technology in the courtroom
• Perform legal research, assist in drafting case summaries, and maintain case-related databases
• Provide post-trial assistance, including preparing settlement documentation and organizing final case materials
• Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure compliance with legal procedures and court rules

Education & Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program
• 4+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a focus on product liability and class action cases (automotive industry experience is a plus)
• Significant trial preparation and courtroom experience
• Proficiency in legal software and e-discovery tools (e.g., Lexis, Relativity, CaseMap, TrialDirector)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to travel and work extended hours during trial periods

Annual Compensation /Salary & Benefits:
