Deburr Technician

Deburr TechnicianResponsible for finishing manufactured metal parts by removing sharp edges, burrs, and surface imperfections. This position uses hand tools and pneumatic tools to ensure parts are smooth, clean, and prepared to meet quality and production specifications. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working with their hands, and interested in gaining experience in aerospace manufacturing.What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Deburr Technician Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 18.25 / hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredFirst Shift (Friday through Sunday from 05:00am to 05:00pm)Perform basic deburring and finishing operations on manufactured metal parts.Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections from parts.Perform edge breaking and basic surface finishing.Use deburring tools such as swivel knives, straight-edge knives, deburr pads, and pneumatic tools.Carefully inspect parts during the deburring process to ensure proper finish and quality.Follow work orders, travelers, written instructions, and production requirements.Complete required production transactions and documentation.Deburr Technician Qualifications:Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools.Strong attention to detail and quality.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Dependable with good attendance and punctuality.Comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on work.Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team.Previous manufacturing, machining, metalworking, or production experience is helpful but not required.Must be able to train Monday-Friday for about 2-4 weeksApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
