Step into a rewarding contract opportunity where you’ll support students as a Speech-Language Pathologist across various school locations in the Bethlehem and Easton, PA areas, as well as throughout the IU. Your professional expertise will be valued while you make a meaningful difference in the PreK through 12th-grade population, serving students with a wide range of needs, including moderate to severe cases.
This flexible, full-time position offers a consistent 35-hour work week and the chance to collaborate with dedicated educators, therapists, and families. You will work within a dynamic environment where each day brings new challenges and opportunities for growth. As caseloads and specific locations are yet to be finalized, adaptability and a proactive mindset are essential.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Experience or strong interest in working with PreK-12 students, especially those with moderate to severe communication needs
- Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites in the IU area
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic speech-language services to eligible students
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Adapt services and interventions to meet a diverse set of student needs
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with school and state standards
