Your Responsibilities

• Performing in-depth patient evaluations, ordering relevant diagnostic tests, and developing individualized care plans
• Diagnosing and addressing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions, working alongside physicians or autonomously as per your credentials
• Providing education to patients and their families on health maintenance, illness prevention, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapeutic interventions within your professional scope

Education and Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Licensure and Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure for the state of Nevada
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or express intent to obtain within 90 days)
