Payroll Distribution Specialist

Position Description:
Ensure the accurate and timely packaging and delivery of multi company payroll checks to multiple locations. Assist with various administrative tasks.
- Prepare Client Payroll Package for Shipping according to company procedures
- Ensure payroll checks are secure in envelopes and the check count matches what is indicated on the checklist
- Prepare and coordinate items for distribution with payroll
- Organize reports for distribution with payroll
- Create shipping labels and verify recipient address to ensure accurate delivery
- Biweekly mail merge to create, print and mail Termination letters
- Monitor notifications for shipping delays that will result in late packages
- Track shipments and resolve any delivery issues or delays
- Maintain shipping address book and update as needed
- Inventory management of shipping supplies
- Ensure confidentiality of payroll documents during handling and shipping
Specific Skills Needed:
- Basic computer knowledge
- Accurate and detail oriented
- Strong organization skills
- Strong oral communication skills
This role is full time in the office 5 days a week.
