HIRING IMMEDIATELY: WAREHOUSE LEAD IN VERNON HILLS, IL

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Warehouse Lead to join our team in Vernon Hills, IL. This role is critical in overseeing shift operations, maintaining quality standards, and directing team members. The ideal candidate has prior leadership experience in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment and is ready to step in as a back-up to the Shift Supervisor when needed. Pay, Schedule, and Location:

• Staring at $27/hour
• 1st Shift 
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• Located in Vernon Hills, IL

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Facilitate employee audits using QuickBase, Prism, and SOPs
• Monitor machine schedules and oversee employees on each piece of equipment
• Coordinate material needs with the Shipping Department
• Ensure customer requirements are met according to job ticket instructions
• Provide feedback, direction, and training to employees
• Perform line clearance procedures as needed
• Oversee hourly production on all equipment
• Maintain quality control objectives and coordinate objectives with production
• Track materials such as tape, labels, and shrink wrap, notifying supervisor when re-orders are needed
• Participate in production meetings and orientations as requested
• Manage time, prioritize tasks, and organize team workflow
• Build and maintain positive relationships with team members
• Perform other job duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior leadership experience in a warehouse or production environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to direct work of others and provide training
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
