Overview Mindful Healing Works Wellness Center · Full Time We are seeking Licensed Mental Health Therapists to join our growing team! You can choose to have a hybrid schedule, with a required minimum of 2 days in-person . One day at our Rosedale location and the other at our Dundalk location! This full-time, hybrid position offers flexibility and the opportunity to do meaningful, mission-driven work that truly impacts lives and communities. About Mindful Healing Works Mindful Healing Works Wellness Center (MHWWC) is a multidisciplinary mental health practice reimagining what care can look and feel like, because healing isn\u2019t a solo journey. It\u2019s a community one. We provide individual, family, and group therapy, medication management, and a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP), with a primary commitment to serving Medicaid populations and making high-quality, elevated care accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford it. Through The Academy Internship Program, individual and group supervision, and continuing education opportunities, we invest deeply in the growth of our providers, because transforming mental health care starts with empowering the clinicians who deliver it. Key Responsibilities Clinical Services Provide individual, family, and/or group counseling to children, adolescents, and/or adults depending on licensure and experience. Maintain minimum encounters per month, delivering therapeutic services in accordance with best practices and agency expectations. Support clients in achieving treatment goals through evidence-based interventions and trauma-informed approaches. Maintain strict confidentiality of client information and documentation in accordance with HIPAA, state laws, and professional ethical standards. Assessment & Diagnosis Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate emotional, behavioral, and psychological functioning. Determine and document DSM-5 diagnoses, based on client history, presenting concerns, clinical interviews, and input from other treatment providers. Utilize assessment tools, screening instruments, and risk assessments as needed to support clinical decision-making. Treatment Planning & Intervention Develop person-centered, individualized treatment plans that reflect client strengths, needs, goals, and diagnoses. Monitor and update treatment plans regularly in collaboration with the client and clinical team. Incorporate culturally responsive, developmentally appropriate, and trauma-informed interventions into care. Participate in multidisciplinary case consultations to support integrated, whole-person care. Collaborate regularly with supervisors, peers, and administrative staff to ensure coordinated care and continuity of services. Maintain effective communication with medical providers, family members (with appropriate releases), and other service systems involved in the client’s care. Clinical Documentation & Compliance Complete accurate, timely, and professional clinical documentation, including intake assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries. Follow all agency protocols and regulatory requirements related to documentation and service delivery. Participate in audits, peer reviews, and quality improvement efforts as needed. Key Qualifications Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. Active Maryland state licensure (LMSW, LGPC, LCSW-C, LCPC, or equivalent). Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Commitment to maintaining a high standard of clinical care within a wellness-centered environment. Compensation When hired as a Therapist with Mindful Healing Works Wellness Center, you can choose between being a W2 Employee or as a 1099 Contractor . The compensation structures are built differently, please read them carefully! 1099 Contractor: Salary: $62,400 – $166,400+ → there is no earnings cap. Unlimited earning potential - no salary ceiling Flexible schedule - you control your hours and caseload Access to all MHW clinical systems, EHR, and billing infrastructure Collaborative team environment and clinical consultation Full, complimentary use of the MindSpa, because you deserve to feel it too! Eligible for weekly individual clinical supervision and monthly group clinical supervision As a 1099 Contractor, you are responsible for: Self-employment taxes (~15.3% on net earnings - both employer and employee share) Quarterly estimated federal and state tax payments Your own health, dental, and vision insurance No paid time off, holidays, or sick leave W2 Employee: Base salary of $90,000, paid bi-weekly 2 weeks paid time off 6 paid holidays: New Year\u2019s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day 40 hours sick leave Health, vision, and dental with a 50% employer contribution 401(k)/Retirement is eligible per plan terms Full, complimentary use of the MindSpa, because you deserve to feel it too!
