Warehouse Manager

Food Ireland imports and distributes branded food products from Ireland and the UK across the USA. The company collaborates closely with key manufacturers to establish their brands in the US retail and food service markets. Role Description This is a full-time on‑site role for an experienced Warehouse Manager located in Mount Vernon, NY. The primary focus of this role is effective management of the warehouse team, outbound logistics, operations management, and inventory management on a day‑to‑day basis. This is a hands‑on leadership role with full ownership of warehouse operations, staffing, and shipping decisions. Salary starting at $75k - $100k depends on experiance What You’ll Be Responsible For Lead, coach, and develop a warehouse team, including hiring, training, performance management, and scheduling Oversee pick, pack, ship and receive operations, ensuring products move efficiently through each stage of the warehouse lifecycle Schedule and prioritize orders for picking and packing based on deadlines, staffing, and product requirements Manage and oversee inventory LIFO system typical of perishable food products. Manage inbound and outbound shipments by coordinating with common carriers and determining the most effective shipping methods based on temperature control and transit time requirements. Ensure accurate turnaround of shipments while maintaining inventory accuracy and food safety standards Maintain compliance with warehouse safety, sanitation, and facility requirements Analyze operational performance and implement process improvements What We’re Looking For 5+ years of warehouse, distribution, or production management experience Proven experience managing the full employee lifecycle Understanding of food storage, stock rotation, and temperature‑sensitive shipping Comfortable using warehouse and shipping systems Strong leadership presence and accountability mindset Why Join Us Competitive Salary for all Low turnover of employees with positive work ethic.
