We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Legal Counsel to provide practical, risk-based legal guidance in a large, multi-state security services organization. Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary legal advisor on employment law matters, including recruiting, discipline, wage and hour compliance, and employee relations.
• Provide strategic legal guidance on commercial contracts, operational risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and oversee the Legal and Compliance team, managing paralegals, compliance specialists, and external legal resources.
• Manage employment litigation, administrative claims, and workplace investigations with sound judgment and responsiveness.
• Develop and deliver training programs on employment law compliance and workplace ethics.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school with an active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5+ years of employment law experience, including law firm and in-house roles preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws and compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high emotional intelligence.
• Proven ability to provide clear, actionable advice under time pressure and manage multiple priorities.
