Job Description

We're hiring experienced Class A CDL Drivers for a dedicated local retail fleet based in Shafter, California . This position offers daily home time, 100% no-touch freight, consistent year-round freight, and modern equipment while delivering to retail locations throughout Southern California.

Pay & Compensation

Average Weekly Earnings: $1,275–$1,600
Average Annual Earnings: Approximately $66,800
Top Annual Earnings: Approximately $84,400
Mileage-based pay (based on experience and length of haul)
Stop Pay
Detention Pay
Safe & On-Time Performance Bonus
Weekly direct deposit

Final compensation is determined by experience and assigned routes.

Home Time & Schedule

Home Daily
Typically 2 consecutive days off each week
Weekend work is required
Most dispatches begin between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM
Days off are generally scheduled during the week

Job Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle
Deliver dedicated retail freight throughout Southern California
Transport both dry van and refrigerated trailers
Complete approximately 2–3 stops per route
Return backhaul freight to the distribution center
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain electronic logs and DOT compliance

Slip-seat operation
Trucks remain at the terminal after each shift

Operating Area

Drivers primarily operate throughout Southern California , with routes originating from Shafter, CA .

Applicants must live within 50 miles of Shafter, CA (93263).

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 6 months of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience
Must live within the approved hiring area
Comfortable operating both dry van and refrigerated trailers
Available to work weekends
Comfortable with afternoon and evening dispatch times
Ability to pass DOT drug screening, background check, and meet company safety standards
