RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work night shifts in a Clinical Decision Unit with 36 weekly guaranteed hours

• Alternating weekend schedule required

• Patient ratios of 1:4-6 in an 8-bed unit

• Coordinate, plan, direct, and implement nursing process in medical-surgical setting

• Process high volume of admissions for typical ER observation and admission patients

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required with strong Med Surg background

• Required certifications: BLS

• EPIC experience highly preferred, ACLS preferred

• Float requirements include customary floating to any inpatient unit

• EMR system: EPIC

• Dress code requires black scrubs

• Flu vaccination required (exemptions must be client approved)

• Contract duration: 13-26 weeks

• Must work at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day)

• Up to 5 days time off can be automatically approved in each 13-week period

• Team player attitude required with willingness to help and provide caring patient outcomes
