SUMMARY:

Do you love waxing? Does educating clients about the benefits of waxing and sharing the latest product trends energize you? Are you looking to sharpen your waxing skills or learn a new technique? 1. Responsible for implementation of customer service standards for all internal and external clients. Goal is to exceed client expectations from initial inquiry to on-going client relationship management.
2. Responsible for maintaining a clean and professional environment.
3. Accountable for efficient, effective and high-quality service provision following all defined waxing service standards.
4. Support and protect our culture.
5. Other duties as assigned in the spirit of teamwork.
6. Follows safety standards in all aspects of performance of the above functions.

Role Scope and Complexity

The technician reports directly to salon manager/salon lead and indirectly to all members of ownership and is accountable for adhering to all service provisions and sanitation standards. They are accountable for meeting established service protocols and customer service standards focusing on both internal & external customers. Also accountable for informing and educating clients on our service offerings, retail products and membership program, building and retaining clients through social platforms, community engagement & other marketing efforts put forth by management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Required : Current State Licensure (Esthetician, Cosmetologist)
• Required : Must be available to work weekends (Thursday through Sunday)
• No previous full time waxing experience required (training will be provided)
• May need to support opening or closing studio activities
• Time Management Skills - a commitment to increasing skills to promote a positive client experience and speed of service to growth the business
• Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
• Flexible and adaptable individual who embraces being a part of a team.
• Exceptional Customer Service
• Self-Motivated to promote add-on and enhancement services (upsells), products and overall skin knowledge transfer to clientele

Compensation & Benefits

• $10/hour pay OR 25% service commission plus tips (whichever is higher) / $12-$15 for Lead Cerologist / Assistant Manager

Compensation: $12.00 - $30.00 per hour
