Our client, a reputable law firm located in Uniondale, NY, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Scanning Clerk to join their team. As a vital part of the administrative support staff, you will play a key role in maintaining the efficiency and organization of legal documents. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, ensuring seamless document processing and support within a professional legal environment.

Job Title: Scanning Clerk

Location: Uniondale, NY

Pay Range: $17 - $18

Shift: 10:00AM - 7:00PM, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Assist with copying, printing, scanning, and bookmarking legal documents
• Label and organize physical and electronic files to ensure easy retrieval
• Support mailroom activities including moving boxes and delivering papers across floors
• Convert and print electronic documents within the KOFAX environment
• Maintain accuracy and confidentiality in handling sensitive legal information

What's Needed?

• 1+ year of basic office work experience, preferably in a legal setting
• Familiarity with electronic document conversion and printing, especially KOFAX
• Ability to handle physical tasks such as moving boxes and delivering papers
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to pass a drug test and criminal background check
